Course Starts: October 5th
Focus on grading and reporting practices that provide impact and efficacy with virtual learning. Explore the unique challenges and opportunities of providing feedback and supporting student growth with online assessment practices and tools.
The course will take 2-4 hours per week to complete and can be done at your own pace and on your own time. Teachers who submit a class project and provide feedback to the other students in their group will receive 12 hours of professional learning credit.
Course Schedule
Week 1 - Introduction to the topic, featuring a webinar with guest expert(s) (which you can attend in real-time or watch at your own convenience), curated resources and a moderated online discussion.
Week 2 - Further exploration of the topic, featuring a second webinar with guest expert(s) (which you can attend in real-time or watch at your own convenience), curated resources and a moderated online discussion.
Week 3 - Application of your learning, through a scaffolded project, access to scheduled office hours with the course facilitators to answer your specific questions, and a moderated online discussion.
Week 4 - Group feedback on class projects and final reflections on the course.
