Course Dates: February 14, 2021 - March 13, 2021
Looking to take your standards-based grading and reporting (SBG&R) to the next level? Join us for an SBGR 2.0 course, where we will explore issues that arise after you have implemented an SBG&R across your school community, division level, and within your department or grade level. We will discuss which procedures should be tight (required by all) and which should be loose (allowing variation by schools/teachers) and aligning our mission/vision statements with our assessment and grading procedures. Participants will have opportunities to work within and across school divisions and examine the practices of educators within specific content areas.
The course will take 2-4 hours per week to complete and can be done at your own pace and on your own time. Participants who participate in class discussions and engage in an ISS Challenge will receive 12 hours of professional learning credit.
All communications regarding access, course materials, course participation, Zoom meeting participation, and final PD certificate will be communicated through the Canvas platform.
